(More customer reviews)I really fell in love with these boots when I got them (in all black) about a month ago!! I got them on sale and paid about $54. They fit great, look hot and are very comfortable. After 2 days of wearing them when I stepped in a little puddle they started to squeak. I looked at the bottom of them after a week and they looked worn already!! I had only worn them about 4 times in that week because it was wet outside. About 2 weeks ago it was pouring when I was coming home, and I stepped in a puddle I couldn't avoid when trying to cross the street and my sock (right foot) got damp. The last time I wore these boots was that rainy day, until today. Mind you, I only wear these to and from work, not even around the carpeted office, and my walk to public transportation is about 6 blocks, so I walk about a mile a day. I'm now dreading going home as it's raining, and I now have two horizonal gauges in the soles of the boots that are about 2 inches wide and 1/4 inch deep. I'm very disappointed that they didn't even last me the season, because I really thought I found the rain boots for my large calves, and they are most adorable!! It might just be a fluke and I have a experience, but I don't know if I will buy another pair like this again... :(
